Position Overview
The Leaving Violence Case Worker plays a crucial role, providing culturally safe, trauma-informed case management to victim-survivors of intimate partner violence through the Leaving Violence Program (LVP). You will be responsible for ensuring responsive and appropriate support through a structured 12-week framework, where you will assess risk, develop safety plans, and coordinate services to empower clients on their journey towards safety and healing.
This position does not involve crisis intervention; however, your expertise will be vital in connecting individuals to the appropriate crisis services and providing ongoing support. Your thorough documentation and adherence to DAHS policies will ensure high-quality care and compliance with program requirements.

You will possess a strong understanding of the issues facing Aboriginal communities and demonstrate a capacity to manage multiple cases effectively.
* Experience in case management and the ability to develop effective family violence safety plans.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Effective conflict resolution, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
* A current C class WA driver's licence and relevant clearances (National Police Clearance, WA Working with Children Check, First Aid).

Remuneration: $85,412-$93,193 per annum pro rata + superannuation + salary sacrifice
* Annual Airfare Derby-Perth-Derby return after 12 months of continuous employment to the value of $1,683
* Accommodation allowance of $7,800 towards rent expenses
* 5 weeks annual leave per annum pro rata with 17.5% Leave loading
* Salary packaging gross up amount of $30,000 optional
