PURCHASING TECHNICIAN

Overview
Would you like to join our team? We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, experienced Purchasing support team member. You will be responsible for participating in the procurement process and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmacy purchasing and inventory control.

Responsibilities

* Work closely and report directly to the Purchasing Lead.
* Assist in determining purchasing needs and requirements.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
* Assist in the procurement process from creating purchase orders to receiving deliveries.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Receive incoming products, confirming no damage, good dating, and accurate quantities.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and preferred vendor compliance.

Qualifications

* Healthcare/Pharmacy purchasing experience preferred.
* Knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures.
* Knowledge using software QS1 preferred but not required.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical Demands

* May sit or stand five to eight hours per day.
* Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
* May work extended hours, rotating weekends as needed.
* Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Holiday & PTO Policy

* Paid holidays: 6 days annually, plus 5 sick days.
* Up to 10 PTO days per year, with rollover options and milestone bonuses.
* Option to cash out up to 10 PTO hours each quarter.
