Our client, a Federal Government Agency is an independent statutory agency responsible for funding support associated with disability, is seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of several cross-functional projects that aims to improve the integrity of the Agency's scheme.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Program Manager
* Translate the programs goals & vision to a stream roadmap, backlog and delivery schedule that supports the program to deliver on its intended benefits whilst also meeting the government milestones;
* Work with the program manager & delivery stakeholders to manage the schedule, resources, risks, dependencies and issues and ensure timely and effective resolution;
* Establish and maintain the project & program backlog, prioritise and plan the program increments and iterations with stakeholders;
* Facilitate reporting and proactively monitor health metrics and identify & take corrective action to keep committed government milestones on track;
* Lead various agile ceremonies such as pi planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews & retrospectives ensuring alignment to best practices;
* Monitor and report on the assigned projects progress, performance and outcomes and ensure transparency and visibility to all stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years' experience managing large programs and cross functional projects with a focus on utilising agile methodologies;
* Extensive experience in delivering and applying agile methodologies;
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the integrity challenges and opportunities and the ability to translate them into actionable and measurable program goals and outcomes;
* Experience delivering with cross functional teams across business areas, enabling services, external stakeholders and technology;
* Program/Project Qualifications or equivalent is desirable;
* Experience working on multi-cloud-based environment, including working with digital transformation teams.
