Blueridge Animal Hospital is a proudly independent, community-focused veterinary clinic located in Berowra. We are passionate about providing best-standard veterinary care while ensuring pets and their owners feel supported, respected, and genuinely cared for.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit and supportive team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on nursing role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care. You will work alongside experienced veterinarians and nurses in a well-equipped clinic that values professionalism, kindness, and continual improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Patient care, monitoring, and handling with a fear-free approach
* Surgical nursing, anaesthetic monitoring, and recovery care
* Nurse consultations and client education
* Assisting with diagnostic procedures (pathology, imaging, etc.)
* Maintaining hospital hygiene, stock control, and equipment care
* Accurate clinical notes and communication with the team
About You
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
* Strong animal handling and patient care skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
* A genuine passion for animal welfare and client care
