We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Multiskilled Plant Operators and Labourers to join our team with projects in Toowoomba region. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining various plant equipment and performing general labour tasks as required. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain a range of plant equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, rollers, skid steers, etc.
* Perform routine maintenance and checks on plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Carry out general labour tasks including but not limited to digging, trenching, lifting, shoveling, and other physically demanding activities.
* Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
* Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals and deadlines.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations on site.
* Adhere to environmental guidelines and regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
* Previous experience operating various plant equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, bulldozers, etc.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport to and from the worksite.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy objects when required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
* A valid construction white card essential.
* Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Medical and Police Check
