Job Description
This is a permanent part-time role, Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. The pay rate is $33.00 per hour, plus kilometre reimbursement at 99c per kilometre, and paid travel time.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist clients with general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, and washing.
* Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
* Prepare meals for clients.
* Provide social support or respite for family/carers.
* Offer personal care, including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).
Requirements
* A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
* Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
* Good communication skills.
* A reliable team player.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety.
* An Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle.
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential, can be completed through our traineeship program).
* Willingness to apply for a Police Check.
