This is a unique opportunity to take a lead role in a growing gastroenterology clinical trials service, contributing to innovative research while helping to shape high‐quality, patient‐centred trial delivery within South Western Sydney.

* Lead impactful research with real-world outcomes – Coordinate and deliver gastroenterology clinical trials at Campbelltown Hospital, supporting access to innovative therapies and improved outcomes for a diverse patient population.
* Be part of a connected and forward‐thinking trials network – Work collaboratively with investigators, sponsors, CROs and the CTSU, with mentorship and operational support through the Central Coordination Hub and district-wide initiatives.
* Shape systems, governance and future capability – Play a key role in streamlining trial processes, implementing the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework, and building strong stakeholder relationships within a supportive and evolving research environment.

The ideal candidate is an organised, proactive and collaborative clinical trials professional who is passionate about delivering high‐quality research and supporting positive patient outcomes within a hospital setting.

* Strong technical and governance capability – Demonstrates sound knowledge of clinical trial operations across the full trial lifecycle, with a strong understanding of regulatory and governance requirements (ICH‐GCP, ethics, TGA, NCTGF) and the ability to manage complex documentation and compliance obligations with precision.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement – Communicates clearly and professionally with clinicians, research teams, patients, sponsors and support services, fostering effective working relationships and contributing to a positive, patient‐centred research environment.
* Proactive leader with a solutions‐focused mindset – Brings strong organisational and time‐management skills, a continuous improvement approach, and leadership capability to mentor staff, resolve operational challenges, and support workforce development within a dynamic clinical trials setting.

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

* Tertiary qualifications in a health science or equivalent and/or demonstrated equivalent extensive experience in a health care setting.
* Describe your experience coordinating clinical trials within a hospital or health service environment. Include your involvement in study start-up, regulatory processes, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines (e.g. ICH-GCP, ethics, and governance requirements).
* Provide an example of how you have led or supported a clinical trials workforce or multidisciplinary team. How did you ensure consistent, high-quality trial delivery while managing competing priorities, and what outcomes were achieved?
* Describe your experience with clinical trial systems (e.g. CTMS, eISF, EDC) and quality management processes. How have you used data, audits, or process improvements to enhance performance or compliance?
* Provide an example of a complex operational challenge in a clinical trial and how you worked with stakeholders (e.g. investigators, sponsors, support services) to resolve it.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
