Public Areas Attendant Job Description
This is a part-time Houseperson role that will include assisting the housekeeping team in the delivery of hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work. You are also required to split and join beds as needed per occupancy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the duties of the public areas attendant which includes carrying out cleaning duties as required for all public areas and back of house areas and support the room attendant team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the delivery of hotel linen, chemicals, laundry, deliveries and heavy/lifting work
* Splitting and joining beds as needed per occupancy
* Carrying out cleaning duties for all public areas and back of house areas
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
* Previous experience in a similar role in a hotel environment (desirable)
* A high level of fitness and strength due to the heavy lifting and manual handling involved
* Good English levels and the ability to communicate effectively with the diverse housekeeping team and guests
Benefits
This is a part-time role with a guarantee minimum hours per week, including some overnight shifts if required to support the team. The hotel operates 24/7 and you will be required to work across weekends, evenings, overnights and public holidays as required.
