Overview
Start date: Mid December (Flexible for the right candidate)
Contract length: 12 months + long term preferred
Pay: $50-55 per hour (Depending on experience – negotiable for the right candidate)
Location: Wahroonga, Sydney
A professional family is seeking a kind and patient nanny to care for their children (aged 4, 7 and 9 years).
Normal days: 3 afternoons per week. Ideally Mon, Tue and Wed 1pm or 5pm. The family is happy to increase or decrease hours for the right candidate. They are open to a range of arrangements—from as little as one afternoon per week to as much as three afternoons per week or one to two full days.
Very flexible for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Care for the children
- Follow the children’s routine
- Pick up from school
- Take to afternoon activities (dance, gymnastics, etc.)
- General tidying up and light household chores
- Homework assistance
- Run errands (occasionally)
Family expectations / Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child care
- Childcare qualifications preferred
- Current first aid certificate
- Current Working With Children’s Check
- Robust communication skills and English proficiency
- Non-smoking
- Full driver’s license and clean driving record (Own car needed – kms and petrol reimbursed)
