Accountant – Tamworth Regional Council
Location: Tamworth, NSW. Full-time. Salary: Grade 16 – $1,****** – $1,****** per week plus 12% superannuation for a 35-hour work week.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate best practice statutory and management reporting, financial and rating processes, budget analysis and payroll coordination.
Maintain the finance system to meet reporting requirements.
Coordinate and conduct ledger reconciliations.
Facilitate continuous improvement of systems and procedures relating to financial functions.
Use strong communication skills in the workplace, working effectively with others.
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
Degree in Accounting or a related field.
3–5 years of management or financial accounting experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
NSW driver's licence.
