Job Description
The Trustee for Sanctuary House Motel Unit Trust About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen operations and delivering high-quality dishes in line with our menu and guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Plan menus in consultation with management, considering seasonal availability and customer preferences Estimate food and labour costs and manage kitchen budgets effectively Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes ensuring consistency and presentation standards Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff including cooks and kitchen hands Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations Order and manage inventory, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimal wastage Develop new recipes and contribute to menu innovation Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Skills & Requirements : Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Chef Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent attention to detail and passion for food quality and presentation What
