Skills and Abilities
* Responsible for the pastoral care and behaviour management of the students on a day-to-day basis, paying attention to their spiritual, cultural, academic and social development
* Carry out a duty of care to ensure the safety and well being of students
* Teach classes where allocated depending on qualification and experience
* Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans, using a variety of strategies to cater for different learning styles
* Where required, adjust curriculum or approaches to learning and teaching, taking into account the educational needs of individual students
* Foster a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment that reflects the Anglican ethos of the School
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback as required and reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members or Head of Department
* Integrate ICT into teaching practices effectively, leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes
* Embed 21st-century skills into programming, fostering critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication among students
* Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility in all aspects of the role
* Work cooperatively and collaboratively with colleagues, building productive working relationships and contributing to a positive school culture
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff, fostering meaningful and professional relationships
* Follow the College\'s policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and health and safety
* Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Head of Junior School, Head of Senior School, Deputy Principal, or Principal, consistent with the responsibilities of a teacher at the college
* Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times
