Role Overview

As a Talent Development Specialist, you will engage job seekers in our employment program to assess their skills and suitability to various industries. You will build relationships with employers and community organisations to identify vacant positions and place participants into meaningful employment.


Key Activities:

* Developing a thorough understanding of the local labour market and engaging with employers to understand their needs.
* Establishing partnerships with community organisations and local stakeholders.
* Liaising directly with employers to identify suitable employment opportunities for our participants.
* Highlighting the skills of participants to employers through targeted marketing initiatives.
* Supporting employers to employ TAG participants and delivering post-placement support to both parties.
* Brokerage of short-term work experience opportunities and marketing participants during their placement to maximise conversion into full-time employment.

This is a permanent full-time role, and successful applicants must be willing to travel throughout designated regions.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven ability to develop networks and influence decision-makers.
* Experience in achieving business targets and KPIs.
* Knowledge of the local labour market and its strengths and weaknesses regarding youth employment.
* Ability to work within a contractually compliant environment.
* Current driver's licence.
* Satisfaction of a pre-employment check including a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check.

Previous experience in employment services is not essential, as our induction program provides comprehensive training and ongoing support.
