Job Description:
Clinical neuropsychologists specialise in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, develop tailored treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions for children and young people facing neurodevelopmental disorders.
This involves assessing cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning to identify areas of strength and weakness.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour.
The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to parents, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluating children's cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning
* Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans
* Working with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting results
* Providing education and support to parents and carers
Requirements:
* A Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology
* Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Clinical Neuropsychology Endorsement
* Strong analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
