Description
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Analyst, we have a full‐time permanent opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our Liverpool office. The commercial analyst plays a key role by gathering, analysing and interpreting data to make informed decisions and identify potential efficiencies in financial reporting and performance.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely sales and financial reports, including variance analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accuracy in financial projections.
* Maintain and update master data in systems (Pronto, TM1, Power BI) ensuring data integrity and accuracy for reporting and analysis while driving continuous improvement of data and reporting processes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate insights, risks and recommendations, supporting analysis needs and aligning with business goals to drive strategic decisions and improvements.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant laws while maintaining a safety‐first approach for staff, customers and the public.
* Challenge the status quo, promote best practices and contribute to business and system improvement projects.
* Foster a culture of trust, integrity and collaboration within the team and across departments.

Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated 3+ years of commercial analyst or similar experience.
* Tertiary accounting qualification (bachelor's degree or equivalent) and CPA/CA qualification (or final stages of completion).
* Experience with TM1, familiarity with Pronto and Power BI is highly advantageous.
* Strong proficiency in ERP systems and reporting tools, with an understanding of master data and data management.
* Excellent analytical, problem‐solving and commercial acumen with the ability to create and present reports.
* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‐building skills with a focus on time management and delivering accurate, high‐quality work.
* Successful candidate will be required to attend a pre‐employment medical examination.
