Drive Executive Excellence in Internal Medicine Join Metro South Health at Logan Hospital as a Senior Director Support Officer within the Internal Medicine Service Line. In this pivotal role, you will provide high-level executive and operational support to the Service Line Director and senior leadership team, ensuring seamless coordination, communication, and delivery of key priorities. This is an opportunity to operate with autonomy, influence outcomes, and contribute to the performance of a large and complex healthcare service.

About This Role Your new role:

As the Senior Director Support Officer, you will act as a trusted partner to the Service Line Director, delivering high-level executive, administrative, and operational support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the Director's office, enabling strategic priorities to be executed effectively across the Internal Medicine Service Line.

Responsibilities

Delivering confidential executive and administrative support, including diary management, correspondence, and document preparation

Managing and prioritising incoming communications, drafting high-quality responses aligned with corporate standards

Coordinating executive and departmental meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions

Supervising and supporting administrative staff, including workload delegation and guidance

About You You are a highly capable and experienced executive support professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment. You bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

High-Level Communication And Relationship Builder, Capable Of Engaging With Stakeholders At All Levels While Maintaining Discretion And Confidentiality.

Advanced administrative and executive support skills, with strong knowledge of office systems and procedures

Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and meet tight deadlines

High-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills tailored to diverse audiences

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation
