The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable Supply Chain Management Officer to support logistics and inventory operations for KBR’s Defence customers. This role plays an important part in enabling operational readiness by ensuring Defence ICT assets are effectively managed, tracked, maintained, and distributed in line with Defence quality, safety, and governance requirements.
Working within a collaborative and highly regulated environment, the Supply Chain Management Officer will support end-to-end inventory lifecycle activities including shipping, delivery, storage, asset management, and disposal. The role will partner closely with warehousing teams, OEM suppliers, Defence supply-support facilities, and distribution services to coordinate logistics outcomes that directly support Defence capability delivery.
A strong working knowledge of Defence ICT asset systems, including TAMIT and/or S4HANA, will be critical to successfully managing asset records, issuing and packaging equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The position will also contribute to routine asset maintenance activities, electrical integrity compliance, and reconciliation with Configuration Management Databases to ensure configuration accuracy and audit readiness.

As the ideal candidate you will bring:
Essential:
* Defence recognised SCM qualifications and experience with Supply Chain Management tools and technology (e.g. S4HANA, TAMIT)
* Excellent organisation, time management, and accuracy when multitasking across multiple activities and deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels including internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, building trusting, respectful and resilient professional relationships
* NV1 Security clearance (with the ability to upgrade to NV2 if required)
Desirable:
* Experience within Defence Deployed ICT Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, Portfolio and Project Integration
* Previous experience in Defence ICT Warehousing operations and stock control with relevant qualification in Warehouse Operations and Record-keeping
* Forklift License
* Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.) with experience with inventory and planning software packages
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team under limited supervision, prioritising tasks, following through to completion
* Ability to problem solve and analytical skills with the ability to reason logically especially during high pressure situations
* Ability to demonstrate a strong customer focus and be responsive to customer and other ICT Partners needs
