Design & Build are working with a local Canberra builder with a great reputation to bring on-board a Contracts Administrator, initially working on projects in the range of $30m - $90m in the class 2 residential space.
Key responsibilities
Assisting with tender documents for submission
Completing take-off for constructions estimates
Preparation of scopes of work
Negotiating and letting subcontracts
Programming and managing variations
Procuring materials
Liaising with consultants, submitting and closing out RFI's
Assisting with client progress claims
Approving subcontract progress claims
Administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts
Preparation of site documentation for construction certification.
About you
3+ years experience in a similar Contracts Administrator role.
Project based contract and financial administration experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience using CHEOPS, Aconex or similar construction software
