Rustica Highpoint is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Café Supervisor with strong barista skills to join our leadership team at one of Melbourne's busiest shopping centre locations.
This is a hands-on role suited to a hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced café environments and enjoys leading teams, delivering excellent customer service, and working on the coffee machine when required.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Venue Manager in daily café operations
* Lead the team during service, both on the floor and on coffee
* Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
* Supervise, train, and motivate baristas and front-of-house staff
* Ensure compliance with operational procedures and brand standards
* Assist with rostering, stock control, and labour management
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workplace
* Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally

Skills & Experience
* Strong barista skills required (essential)
* Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Café Supervisor, or Hospitality Manager
* Solid understanding of specialty coffee and café operations
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Experience working in a high-volume café or hospitality venue
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail
* Positive, professional, and "can-do" attitude
* Availability to work weekends (essential)
