Our client, a leading technology-focused organization, is looking to recruit a dedicated Kubernetes Administrator. This role involves the implementation, management, and optimization of Kubernetes systems in both public and private cloud environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters on-premises and in cloud platformsManage containerized applications, ensuring automated deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management using Kubernetes orchestration.Monitor cluster health, resource utilization, and application performanceTroubleshoot networking, storage, and orchestration challengesEnforce security best practices including RBAC, vulnerability scanning, secret management, and compliance with organizational policies.Collaborate closely with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams, providing guidance on Kubernetes best practices.Automate operational tasks and optimize cluster performance using GitOps workflows and other automation tools.Maintain detailed operational documentation
Skills & QualificationsStrong commercial experience working with an managing Kubernetes platforms - probably though working as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineerideally you'll be Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) but this isn't essentialStrong understanding of virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud solutions including Azure and AWS.Experience with automation and orchestration tools aimed at reducing manual effort and improving efficiencyIdeally you'll also expereience with VMWare, and a solid knowledge of kubernetes management tools like Rancher & Tanzu
