The role
We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to join our growing team in our Dandenong South Head Office.
This is a permanent, full‑time position .
Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
About the Role
* Lead and coordinate the end‑to‑end recruitment, including identifying and leading diverse sourcing strategies.
* Management of onboarding employees and delivering a solid employee experience; leading capability development, goal setting, and employee engagement initiatives
* Actively participate in disciplinary and performance management processes and any other HR function necessary for the business to ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation.
* Reporting of HR statistics on a monthly basis.
* Participation in and minute‑taking of HR meetings.
* Preparing and issuing of employment documents including employment contracts, termination documents, general employee letters, and position descriptions.
* Responsible workers compensation claims management and managing RTW programs.
* Management of the QMS (Quality Management System)
* Provide guidance and support to line managers on HR policies and procedures.
* Monthly reporting to Executive team.
* Provide expert advice, interpretation, and support to management on Employee Relations matters and Industrial Agreements.
* Develop/coordinate training for staff in areas such as OHS, IR/ER, and mental health awareness.
* Drive workplace health, safety, and well‑being strategies, systems, and initiatives.
* Development of company departmental policies, procedures, and processes.
* Travel to interstate sites (as required).
What We're Looking For
* Be empathetic and approachable with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
* Experience with HRM Systems (Employment Hero).
* An understanding of OHS requirements and WorkCover is highly regarded.
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources is advantageous but not essential.
* Experience working within a warehousing or transport environment is desirable.
