Our client is a fast-growing business, and they are looking for a
**Lead Property Economist** with the right attitude and ambition to grow professionally and support the business expansion.

**The Role**
Our client is seeking a
**Lead Property Economist **responsible for analysing and interpreting economic data related to the property market. The Lead Property Economist will conduct research, analyse trends, and provide insights and advice on property market conditions to clients, including property investors, developers, and government agencies. Also, expertise in market research will be used to forecast property market trends, identify investment opportunities, and help clients make informed decisions regarding property investments.

The Lead Property Economist is part of our client's Research and Acquisitions team and will directly report to the Head of Acquisitions. The position is based in Parramatta, New South Wales.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify areas with potential for growth in the residential property/housing market across Australia.
- Conduct research on specific areas to help investors make informed decisions.
- Simplify complex property data and provide it to business-to-business clients (such as property advisers, financial planners, and mortgage brokers).
- Share findings through webinars and seminars.
- Build a strong media presence by regularly providing economic commentary to print, web, and television media.
- Conduct meetings with government officials, industry organisations, and other stakeholders to provide valuable insights on the property market.

**Key Requirements**:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Real Estate and Property industry.
- Previous experience working in a top-tier property research company is vital for this role.
- Ability to find innovative solutions that can further benefit the business.
- Ability to effectively communicate and translate property research and data to both staff and stakeholders.
- Capability to distil complex research into easy-to-understand information.
- Has the skills and passion to present and be in front of a camera whilst creating a presence and reputation for themselves in the industry
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and consistently meets deadlines.
- A strong focus on self-improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
