We are looking for a Mechanic, Fitter or Trade-qualified electrician to join our team as the sole Field Service Technician for the Kalgoorlie region. Whether you are already based in Kalgoorlie or open to relocation, this is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a vital role serving our remote customer base.
About the role:
As our dedicated Field Service Technician in Kalgoorlie, you will be the go-to for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing our Air Compresses across a wide range of customer sites. You'll work independently, supported remotely by our Regional and National Service Team and play a key role in maintaining our reputation for Service Excellence.
To succeed, you will need:
* Mechanical, Fitter or electrical experience: or a trade qualification/background, compressed air experienced is desirable.
* Good Communication: A customer service focus with the ability to build relationships.
* Ready and Willing: to embrace challenges with a can-do attitude and the desire to learn.
* A valid driver's license: as the role does require daily travel to our customer sites
* Availability for On-Call Work: As the dedicated technician for the Kalgoorlie region, you'll be the first point of contact for urgent service needs. This role includes on-call responsibilities, with allowances and overtime rates paid accordingly.
