What's the job?
Reporting to the Head of Future Student, the purpose of the Student Recruitment Manager - Blue Mountains is to increase domestic enrolments into our Blue Mountains International Hotel school by initiating and growing strategic relationships within the local and national networks including high schools and industry connections in relation to direct student recruitment.
The student Recruitment Manager will work alongside other teams to cultivate good working relationships with high school principals, career counsellors and/or teaching staff, to plan and facilitate events and other initiatives in order to obtain quality enrolments. This is primarily a field-based business development role as well as a marketing role that has one key objective: growing the number of enrolments of our domestic students on in our Leura campus.
Day-to-day accountabilities:
- Develop and execute the account plan for the territory, segmenting and prioritising high schools and contacts. Extensive travel is involved with this role.- Build relationships with key contacts within the territory to recruit into Blue Mountains courses and gaining quality leads from domestic students- Develop a strategic workshop offering to be delivered alongside our partner network to showcase Blue Mountains International Hotel School- Contribute to monthly sales reports to monitor progress toward yearly sales targets- Build and maintain accurate an database of contacts, schools, and business activity in Salesforce

Who you are
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience within the hospitality industry, with ideally existing industry partner connections in NSW.- Demonstrated experience in sales (or transferable skills) ideally field-based- Passionate about building and fostering relationships and being energised by talking to people- Competent in the use of content management systems (Salesforce)- Admissions experience within Higher Education would be an advantage but not necessary- Hold a current driver's license (mileage covered but company car not provided)
Whilst there is a plan to expand the team in the future, this role does not have any direct reports.
