About the Role:
Pink Tank Events is seeking a results-oriented and relationship-focused Sponsorships & Partnerships Sales Manager to lead the growth and retention of our sponsorship and partnership portfolio. This is a sales-based leadership role responsible for driving revenue through strategic commercial partnerships while ensuring exceptional delivery and ongoing relationship management with all sponsors. The ideal candidate is equal parts partnership sales coordinator and relationships manager.


Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow sponsorship and partnership revenue for the Miss Universe Australia program and RQCC event.

Proactively identify, approach, and pitch to prospective sponsors across relevant industries (e.g., fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and corporate sectors).

Create compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to individual brand objectives and aligned with the Miss Universe Australia program.

Negotiate partnership agreements and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets

Key Responsibilities:


Sponsorship & Partnership Sales:

* Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow sponsorship and partnership revenue for the Miss Universe Australia program and RQCC event.

* Proactively identify, approach, and pitch to prospective sponsors across relevant industries (e.g., fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, and corporate sectors).

* Create compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to individual brand objectives and aligned with the Miss Universe Australia program.

* Negotiate partnership agreements and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets

Relationship Management:
* Serve as the main point of contact for all existing sponsors and partners, ensuring top-tier client service and communication.

* Manage the delivery of all sponsorship rights and activations, ensuring obligations are met and partners receive measurable return on investment.

* Conduct regular partner reviews, end of season reporting and renewal discussions, to extend and grow existing relationships.

* Represent Miss Universe Australia and RQCC at a handful of annual main partner events.

Team & Operational Leadership:
* Manage and support a small team, including an Events Manager, Social Media Manager, and Graphic Designer to ensure deliverables are being met.

* Ensure team members have clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables, and are aligned with program goals.

* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, providing mentorship and support where needed.

* Act as the main link between the team and the Directors, ensuring smooth communication and execution.

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in sponsorship sales and partnerships

* Previous experience managing a small team or cross-functional staff.

* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

* Proven success in meeting sales targets and managing partner expectations.

* Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
