Atlas Partners is proud to be partnering exclusively with a well‐established, family‐owned business in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs to find an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their close‐knit team on a permanent, full‐time basis.

Our client operates across international trading, property management, and family office functions – a dynamic and varied business with a strong track record and a reputation built on operational excellence and trusted relationships.

About the Role

This is a broad, hands‐on position offering genuine ownership of the business's full financial operations. You'll work with a high degree of autonomy, managing everything from day‐to‐day bookkeeping through to management reporting, compliance, and family office support all while being a trusted partner to the business owner and external accountants.

* $100,000 – $120,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
* Weekly cash flow reporting and preparation of management accounts
* Margin and financial analysis as required
* Bank and credit card processing and reconciliations
* Overseeing international trading AP and AR processes
* Processing weekly and monthly payroll cycles and annual STP reconciliation
* Management of PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax reporting and payments
* Quarterly BAS and IAS lodgements
* Annual FBT return data preparation and financial accounts preparation for external accountant
* Coordinate annual insurance renewals
* Manage annual audit and customer‐required external reporting
* Rental property management across various properties
* Broader family office financial support
About You
* Proven experience in a senior bookkeeping or similar role
* Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance (BAS, PAYG, super, payroll tax, STP)
* Experience with end‐to‐end bookkeeping and management reporting
* Background in a small‐to‐medium, family‐owned business environment
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills
* Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with external accountants and stakeholders
* Proficient in Xero, MYOB or similar, and Microsoft Excel
