Early Childhood - Second in Charge Role

About the Position
* This is a temporary full-time position based in the service's office, working alongside a Service Leader and Administration Officer.
The initial hours are part-time, Thursday and Friday, with an increase to full-time from 30 July. Start and finish times may vary based on service needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Service Leader and team to implement a holistic, play-based curriculum.
* Foster an inclusive environment that promotes children's interests, culture, and abilities.
* Lead the development of a high-quality educational program.
* Support the Service Leader in operational requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and contributing to the achievement of the service's goals and objectives.
Requirements
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
* Current HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
* Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
* Criminal History Check (valid within six months).
* Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Protecting Children – Mandatory reporting and other obligations early childhood.
