Job Opportunity: System Support Specialist
The University of Melbourne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Support Specialist to join its Enterprise Technology team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to stakeholders across the university.
Main Responsibilities:
* Configuring and optimizing Workday systems to meet the complex needs of a leading higher education institution
* Investigating and resolving integration and production issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations
* Working closely with HR subject matter experts to define requirements for system enhancements and liaise with developers to implement solutions
* Educating and training analysts and business stakeholders on system administration and updates, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in HR SAAS systems and excellent problem-solving skills
* The ability to translate complex HR requirements into effective technical solutions
* Relevant Workday certifications and hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing Workday HR solutions
* Strong analytical skills and experience in writing and executing requirements, design, development, and testing documents
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
