Visual Storyteller Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to create captivating content that showcases our brand and resonates with our audience. This role will work closely with marketing teams, collaborating with designers and publishers to produce high-quality video content across multiple platforms.
The Visual Storyteller will be responsible for:
* Researching and writing clear, engaging scripts for B2B and B2C video formats, adapting to various channels and styles.
* Developing and producing end-to-end video content, including research, creative concept, planning, script writing, shooting, editing, motion-design, lighting, sound, and post-production.
* Collating video elements, voiceover, music, supers/animated assets, and managing stock footage and audio content libraries to support content creation.
* Collaborating with in-house teams to maintain on-brand content and adhere to style guides.
* Working closely with Marketing Operations to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content.
Requirements
* Minimum 4 years of experience as a best-practice video editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and exceptional content creation skills.
* Proven project management, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
* Experience working in fast-paced environments, collaborating across projects, and delivering high-quality video content.
* High-level experience with Premiere Pro and mid-to-high level experience in After Effects.
* Thorough knowledge of dynamic editing techniques, motion graphics, and mastering (colour grade and sound mixing).
* Experience with Adobe Software InDesign, PhotoShop, and Illustrator.
