About the role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership and oversight to our Esperance centre. This is a key position responsible for ensuring the clinical integrity and alignment of services, while providing day-to-day support and supervision to a passionate multidisciplinary team. This leadership role will suit a dynamic and compassionate mental health professional with a deep understanding of youth mental health, a commitment to clinical governance, and the ability to drive quality service delivery in a regional context.
About the practice
We’re a passionate team of Psychologists, Social Workers, a Youth Worker, Community Engagement Officer, and a Registered Mental Health Nurse. Our Lead Agency also runs the Goldfields Community Alcohol & Drug Service in town. As the only youth-focused mental health service in the region, we support young people through counselling, case management, brief interventions, group programs, and outreach. Being a newer service in a regional location, there’s lots of variety in the role, it’s a unique chance to make a real impact and build broad experience across youth mental health.
Experience and qualifications required
* Tertiary qualification and registration as a mental health clinician (e.g., Psychologist, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse)
* Relevant professional body registration (AHPRA, AASW) and mental health-specific training or endorsement
* Demonstrated leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
* Experience providing clinical supervision, conducting assessments, and delivering evidence-based interventions to young people with moderate to severe mental health concerns
* Understanding of mental health and SEWB care for First Nations young people
* Ability to embed clinical governance and quality improvement frameworks
