We're looking to add a Capital Account Manager to our Capital Sales Team. This role involves managing a book of eligible merchants and driving awareness of Lightspeed Capital's financial services.
Responsibilities
* Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote our financial services offering.
* Provide exceptionally high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position our services for merchants.
* Build trusted advisor relationships with your customers and identify opportunities across the book of business.
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise growth.
* Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the regional leader.
* Employ effective business development and relationship management techniques to meet or exceed established sales targets.
* Provide regular feedback and serve as the voice of the merchant to business leaders.
* Understand the risk-based nature of Merchant Capital Advances and communicate with merchants; supported by our Risk team.
Qualifications
* Sales experience, preferably selling financial service products, with a track record of high performance over several years.
* Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
* Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build solid internal and external partnerships.
* Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams, forging positive relationships.
