Founded in 2007 as an online nursery brand, we've grown into a trusted name for every room and life stage. Now, as we prepare to launch our first physical retail store in Australia, we're seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager who creates exceptional customer experiences and is excited to shape our in-store presence and set the benchmark for future stores.
How you will add value:
· Lead the successful launch and daily operations of our first store.
· Build, coach, and inspire a brand-new team, creating a culture that future stores will follow
· Deliver an exceptional customer experience that shapes the customer journey from the ground up
· Provide valuable insights to help refine our retail playbook, processes, service standards and operating model
· Drive sales, achieve KPIs and build strong commercial performance
· Maintain brand standards across merchandising, visual presentation, inventory management and operational excellence
· Work closely with head office teams to pilot new tools, systems and retail initiatives
About You:
· An experienced retail leader with a strong track record in high performance store environments.
· Successfully opened new stores or worked within scaling retail brands (ideal but not essential)
· A natural coach who builds capability, confidence and high-performing teams
· Become an expert at furniture assembly, styling and educating customers to support an incredible experience
· A problem solver who enjoys ambiguity and thrives in a building phase
· Someone who is customer-obsessed, operationally strong, and commercially savvy
· Is inspired by and physically able to jump into a role that's hands on - extended periods of time on your feet, lifting, manual handling, unpacking and building furniture
· A leader who wants to leave a legacy and shape a brand's retail DNA
