We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Animal Husbandry Technician to join our Breeder Farm in Goulburn. This role is essential in ensuring the health, welfare, and productivity of our livestock while supporting sustainable and ethical farming practices. 
About the Role 
As an Animal Husbandry Technician, you will play a hands-on role in the daily care and management of livestock, including poultry. You'll work closely with farm managers and veterinarians to maintain high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, and farm operations. 
Key Responsibilities 
Feed, water, and monitor livestock health and behaviour 
Assist with breeding programs, hatching, and animal care 
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed 
Maintain clean and safe housing, sheds, and farm environments 
Record animal health data and farm activities accurately 
Operate and maintain farm equipment and tools 
Support strict biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare protocols 
What We're Looking For 
Certificate or Diploma in Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, or related field: 
Experience working with livestock or poultry in a farm setting 
Knowledge of animal nutrition, reproduction, and disease prevention: 
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting 
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions 
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high animal welfare standards
