About the role
Impressions Dental Prosthetics is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Technician to join our team at our Claremont denture clinic, Hobart, Tasmania. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team of Dental Prosthetists, contributing to the delivery of high-quality dental prosthetics for our valued clients.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricating a range of dental appliances including dentures, mouth guards, splints and bleach trays
* Utilising specialised techniques and equipment to ensure the accuracy and precision of dental appliances
* Collaborating with dental prosthetists and other dental professionals to understand their requirements
* Reception work and maintaining detailed records and documentation
* Ensuring a clean, organised and safe working environment in the dental laboratory, clinic and sterilisation room
* Continuously developing skills and knowledge to stay up-to-date with the latest dental technologies and techniques
What we're looking for
* Formal qualification in Dental Technology
* Past experience in dentures and removable appliances
* Ability to work in reception, and sterilisation room
* Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
* Effective communication skills to collaborate with dental prosthetists and other team members including working directly with clients
* Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Be able to work with minimal or no supervision
* Full working rights in Australia
