Responsibilities:
- coordination of internal and external correspondence including proactive diary management, monitoring and managing emails and calls
- maintaining a high level of professional support with respect, sensitivity and in-confidence
- undertaking a range of administrative processes including file creation, database maintenance, and document management
- drafting and preparation of legal documents including briefs, court documents, etc.
- liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- financial reconciliation, purchasing, payment of accounts and debtor administration
To be successful in this role you will have:
- excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relations with a range of stakeholders
- demonstrated ability to problem solve with strong attention to detail
- proven ability to work autonomously, and exercise initiative and judgement
- effective planning, organisation, and time management skills
- a high level of competency in Microsoft Office programs
- the ability to quickly become proficient in systems and processes
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship
The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience as a Legal Secretary or Executive Assistant.
Legal industry experience is preferred but Executive Assistant experience from other professional industries will be considered.
