Business Analysis Role
We are seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join our team in Perth.
Job Description:
* Complete ratio, trend and cash flow analyses to deliver informed business decisions.
* Deliver a multi-dimensional perspective on the investment outlook in an accessible and informative manner.
* Coach, mentor and train junior analysts to develop their skills and expertise.
* Communicate complex credit decisions clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
* Exercise discretionary authority to make sound business judgments.
* Foster and build strong relationships with customers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
* Act as an escalation point within the team to provide guidance and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven work experience as a Senior Credit Analyst with a strong track record of success.
* Previous experience in analysing bank statements and/or financials to inform business decisions.
* Experience in holding and exercising delegated lending authority.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
* High level of critical thinking to undertake detailed commercial analysis.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, economics and banking regulations.
