TGT is a locally owned multi-store retail business supplying general hardware, plumbing, irrigation, building materials, agricultural chemicals and fertilisers to the Far North Queensland rural, agricultural and building industries. TGT have branches located across the Mareeba Shire and Atherton Tablelands region in addition to a livestock feed plant and an engineering/manufacturing facility.

We are currently seeking a Branch Manager to join the TGT team to run and manage our branch in Mareeba. This position requires capable leadership, good financial and management skills to maintain optimum operational requirements. Previous experience in retail management, rural product sales and customer service is preferred, with the ideal candidate knowledgeable about the agricultural/building or hardware sector.

Key responsibilities include:

* Total operational branch management skills;
* Financial management including the budgets, sales targets, forecasting, financial tracking and reporting;
* Creating business growth by providing active leadership, identifying areas of growth / opportunities and implementing effective strategies for expansion;
* Managing, mentoring and leading teams to achieve their full potential;
* Managing our customer experience through exceptional customer service and the appropriate supply of products and services;
* Oversee all stock, inventory and merchandising, and embarking on effective promotional activities;
* Managing supplier relations and negotiating trade arrangements for best commercial outcome;
* Ensuring compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety regulations and standards; and
* Be a valued part of the Management team, committed to supporting and growing the organisation together.

This position would suit someone with previous Branch Management experience.
