Geospatial Products and Services Delivery Role
We are seeking a skilled Cadet Surveyor to assist in the delivery of geospatial products and services across various projects. The role will involve working with surveying, planning, design, construction, and management of infrastructure assets.
Key responsibilities include providing a variety of survey services, assisting other surveyors, and ensuring that surveying equipment is properly managed, maintained, serviced, and calibrated.
To be successful in this role, you will have basic knowledge of Surveying practices, research skills, demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise own work loads, computing skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to acquire basic knowledge of Surveying legislation standards, guidelines, and practices.
Candidates must be studying or enrolled in an Associate Degree of Spatial Science - major in Surveying, or a Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology - major in Surveying.
This is a Level 2, 15 hours per week (vacation period up to full time) role with a salary package commencing at $67,077 plus superannuation of up to 12.25%. About You
* You will develop the necessary skills to perform engineering detail surveys, prepare spatial data sets, conduct survey services for the construction and capture of infrastructure assets, progress your registration to perform Cadastral Surveys, and use GNSS equipment, Total Stations, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), and Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS) Equipment.
