We are proudly part of Japan Post — www.tollgroup.comWe are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Officer for our Defence project in Bandiana Inventory Coordinator JLU V plays a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient management of inventory within DWDSS operations for the region. This role ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, stored, and processed in line with operational needs and Defence requirements. Supporting the Senior Operations Manager JLU V, the Inventory Coordinator will assist with inventory control, stock movement, and reporting, contributing to optimised warehouse operations and maintaining compliance with service delivery performance measures.You will have: Knowledge/Experience - At least 2–3 years' experience in inventory control or warehouse operations, ideally within a Defence, logistics, or distribution environment - Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for (and maintain) an Australian AGSVA Defence Security Clearance - Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes - Strong understanding of stock control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting procedures - Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills - High attention to detail, ensuring inventory records are accurate and compliant with DWDSS operational requirements - Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment - Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements for warehousing operations Technical/Professional Skills required- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, coordinating with various stakeholders - Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, adjusting to changing priorities and operational demandsQualifications – Education and/or professional- Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field - Lean or Six Sigma certification or exposure to process improvement methodologies - Driver's Licence (C Car)At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
