Description
This position will be responsible for Sales Operations and Business analysis for the ANZ team within the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Sales Operations organization. This pivotal role enables significant business impact through direct involvement in monthly and quarterly metrics, modeling, reporting, forecasting, and operations support ensuring data quality.
This position will also be responsible for leading formalisation of the financial and business reporting for the ANZ team within WWPS, acting as a strategic partner to the sales team, owning dashboard requirements, and providing reporting and operational metrics to support the rapid growth of the AWS public sector business.
The WWPS Business Operations Lead works in collaboration with ANZPS sales team including account teams, partner, service, corporate finance and other functions. Responsibilities include leading forecast calls, pipeline inspection, strategic partnership with Sales Managers, analytical reporting, performance commentary, trend identification, root cause analysis, ownership of problem resolution, authoring strategic narratives, and recommending new business management approaches to accelerate growth.
Key job responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of reporting and analysis ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of reporting
* Provide strategic analysis and year-on-year, quarterly and monthly trend analysis
* Market and industry analysis for ANZ markets
* Help author narratives and provide data insights and analysis for Quarterly Business Reviews
* Provide sales operations support to cross-functional teams across ANZPS, including Greenfield Acceleration, Marketplace, Specialists, CSMs
* Own annual quota and/or goal setting process for support teams in coordination with external WWSO or WWPS teams
* Operate as a strategic partner to the Operations leader for ANZPS
Hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance (see https://www.agsva.gov.au/applicants/eligibility-and-suitability)
Basic Qualifications
* 10+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
* Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
* Experience presenting to senior leadership
