About the Role
As a Shine SIL Coordinator, you'll oversee a portfolio of SIL properties and help lead the service teams that bring our vision to life. You'll ensure services are clinically compliant, person-centred, and aligned with Shine's values. Your experience will guide critical operational decisions from risk management and stakeholder engagement to team capability and participant outcomes.
You'll work closely with a skilled Service Delivery Team and interface with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals to maintain the highest quality of care.
This role specialises in critical service delivery in SIL. Candidates with prior experience in a High Intensity SIL Coordinator role will be highly conisdered. Candidates must be able to confident work with and manage the following:
* Complex behaviours, including extreme behaviours of concerns, including high intensity
* Complex mental health diagnoses
* ASD Level 3
* Medication administration
* Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and service coordination
* Prior experience working with Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
* Prior experience working with restrictive practices
Candidate qualifications:
Our ideal candidates will possess the following:
* A background in disability, nursing, allied health, psychology, or social work
* A strong understanding of the NDIS framework, particularly SIL operations
* Prior experience in a SIL coordinator/management role, preferably in a High Intensity setting (Essential)
* Assist Clients with Medication Skillset trained (Essential)
* Mental Health First Aid (Essential)
* Relevant qualifications in Health, Community Services or Management (Cert IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification) (Essential)
* Current First Aid/CPR Certificate
* Current Driver License
* Current Comprehensive Car Insurance and own vehicle
* Police Check
* Current NDIS Workers Screening & Working with Children Check
