, and we are looking for a
Global Social Media & Marketing Executive
to join us full-time.
Role Overview
The Global Social Media & Marketing Executive is responsible for managing and growing Showpony's global digital presence across brand, education, and event channels. This role combines content creation, social media management, influencer and community engagement, education marketing, analytics, and event support to deliver consistent, high-impact storytelling across all platforms.
Brisbane Based Office Role
Full Time- 37.5 hrs per week
Report to Global Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Management
* Social Media Management:
Manage and grow Showpony's global social media presence across
TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest
* Education Social Management:
Manage and support social media content for
Showpony Education
, including class promotions, educator highlights, course launches, and educational storytelling
* Community Management:
Engage with the global Showpony community by responding to comments and messages, fostering authentic and positive connections
* Content Calendars:
Collaborate with the marketing and education teams to ensure all content aligns with brand strategy, education priorities, and campaign timelines
Content Creation & Asset Development
* Content Creation:
Create, edit, and publish engaging content including graphics, reels, videos, stories, and static posts using
Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
* Monthly Content Assets:
Develop monthly content calendars and ready-to-use social assets for
distributors, salons, and educators
to support their local marketing efforts
* Asset Creation:
Work closely with sales, education, and marketing teams to create digital assets including
flyers, brochures, event promotions, and campaign materials
* Brand Consistency:
Ensure all content maintains consistent visual identity, tone of voice, and messaging across all global platforms
Influencer, Ambassador & Creator Support
* Support influencer, ambassador, and educator content initiatives, including briefing, content coordination, and performance tracking
* Assist in identifying content creators aligned with the Showpony brand and education ethos
Analytics, SEO & Digital Optimisation
* Analytics Reporting:
Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance across all platforms, providing insights and recommendations
* SEO Support:
Assist with creating
SEO-friendly digital and blog content
to improve website visibility and organic search performance
* Support optimisation of digital touchpoints such as
Linktree
Events, Education & Ticketing Platforms
* Event Marketing Support:
Assist in promoting education events, classes, launches, and global initiatives across social and digital channels
* Event Ticket Platform Management:
Manage and update event ticketing platforms (e.g. class listings, event descriptions, imagery, links, and scheduling) to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
* Support digital marketing initiatives around events, ensuring a seamless customer journey from promotion to ticket purchase
Marketing & Campaign Support
* Support the creation of content for
EDMs (email marketing)
, including imagery, copy, and links
* Assist with campaign rollouts, product launches, and global marketing initiatives
* Stay up to date with platform trends, emerging tools, and best practices to keep Showpony's digital presence innovative and competitive
Who You Are
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in
Marketing, Communications, Digital Media
, or a related field
* Strong personal or freelance experience in
social media management
, particularly
TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
* Experience and knowledge within the beauty or hair industry
* Hairdressing experience desirable
* Proficient in
Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
* Confident creating
reels, short-form video, stories, and static content
with a strong eye for detail and aesthetics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
* Passionate about the
hair, beauty, education, or professional salon industry
