About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled registered midwife to join our team. As a key member of our midwifery group practice program, you will provide continuity of care to women, working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Your role will involve:
* Providing 24-hour support to allocated caseloads of women
* Managing your own workload and time effectively
* Delivering antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal midwifery care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions
* Supporting women in achieving normal birth strategies and optimal birthing goals
You will be well-supported by a clinical midwife specialist team leader and enjoy a collaborative work environment with close support from the district's clinical midwife educator and consultants.
