Job Summary
We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team, responsible for managing and controlling the Permit to Work system on site to ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory and company safety standards.
* This role requires strong knowledge of Permit to Work systems and associated risk control measures.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field and NEBOSH IGC / OSHA Certification or equivalent preferred.
A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HSE or PTW coordination role in an industrial or construction environment is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and control the Permit to Work system on site to ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with regulatory and company safety standards.
* Report to the HSE Lead and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and contractors to ensure safe execution of high-risk work such as hot work, confined space entry, working at height, electrical isolation, excavation, and lifting activities.
* Ensure appropriate risk assessments are attached and adequate control measures are implemented.
* Maintain a permit log and tracking system for all ongoing and completed work.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure work under permit is carried out as per safety procedures and permit conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
* NEBOSH IGC / OSHA Certification or equivalent preferred.
* Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE or PTW coordination role in an industrial or construction environment.
