Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Mill and Lathe Setter/Operator.
Main Responsibilities:
* To set up and operate multiple CNC Mills and Lathes in a high-mix, low-volume batch production environment with precision and accuracy.
* To interpret engineering drawings and GD&T with skill and attention to detail.
* To work precisely with both metric and imperial measurements and conduct inspections to ensure that first-off and in-process components adhere to drawing specifications.
* To analyse and interpret CMM reports to implement necessary adjustments in machine settings.
* To prioritise maintaining product quality while improving productivity and efficiency to meet delivery schedules.
* To maintain cleanliness and ensure proper upkeep of machines and work areas.
* To adhere consistently to WHS policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Trade qualification or equivalent experience.
* Extensive experience in CNC setting and operation.
* Capability to set up and operate CMM.
* Familiarity with Fanuc control.
* Flexibility in working both morning and afternoon shifts.
