Our client is the largest provider of public education in NSW.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join a high-profile government program delivering contemporary, user-centric web applications. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale projects that directly impact the community, using the latest in frontend frameworks and best practices.
You will be part of the development and maintenance of a large-scale financial management and reporting platform used to track capital works, new builds, and infrastructure upgrades.
About the Role : As part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, you will:
- Design, build and maintain responsive, secure, and scalable single-page and progressive web applications.
- Leverage expertise in Angular (v2–18), AngularJS, and modern JavaScript/Typescript frameworks.
- Apply CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, Bulma, Bootstrap to deliver high-quality, accessible interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and implement design-led solutions.
- Integrate APIs and work across full-stack environments to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Support testing and CI/CD pipelines using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, Cypress.
- Collaborate with UX designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders to shape product outcomes.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years' experience in frontend development across government and enterprise projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Angular (latest v18), AngularJS, React, Typescript, CSS/SCSS, HTML5.
- Experience in visualisations, Ag-grid) and building shared component libraries.
- Proven experience in WCAG compliance, responsive design, and user accessibility.
- Knowledge of progressive web apps, micro front-ends, and modern state management (RxJS, NgRx).
- Understanding of full-stack technologies and enterprise environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with NSW Public Sector frameworks, governance, and policies highly regarded.
