Working in your local community, you will have a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification and genuinely enjoy supporting elders to remain living in their own home.
As a community care worker, you must be comfortable working independently, visiting clients homes and providing services such as domestic assistance, personal care, social support and shopping. You will have access to your own registered and comprehensively insured car and be willing to transport our clients safety in your car.
You will be well-supported in your role by our Coordinators and Registered Nurses and will receive training and the items you need to perform your role.
Key requirements:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
Current First Aid and CPR
Permanent Australian resident
Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Australian Open Drivers Licence
An ability to speak another language is highly regarded
You will be fully vaccinated for COVID19 and Influenza and have a reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.
