Job Description:
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department, encompassing all resort rooms and amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment, and performing the resort preventative maintenance program.
This role involves hands-on activities such as maintaining the resort grounds and gardens.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience in a similar role (carpentry/maintenance/grounds/gardens)
2. Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
3. Excellent attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends, school and public holiday period
