Support Worker – Home Care (Benalla area)
We are looking for people to join our team as Support Workers in the aged community; part‐time positions are currently available to work with the community care team.
Responsibilities
* Support people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and assistance in the community, including companionship.
* Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and medication prompting.
* Help clients achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks.
* Promote customer choice and positive routines and activities that are meaningful to the customer.

What You Will Bring
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support (or willingness to undertake a traineeship)
* Current First Aid and CPR certificate
* Current and valid driver's licence with comprehensive insurance and a reliable motor vehicle
* Mobile phone with GPS support
* Capacity to embrace a meaningful role for the community and yourself
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer‐service orientation
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Proficiency in using technology such as smartphones, email, and internet
* Desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission‐based organisation
