**YMCA Vocational Schools, part of the YMCA Brisbane,** provide adjusted education programs and vocational training to secondary students, who would benefit from an alternative learning environment. Our Morton Bay Campus provides students with recording and dance studios, gyms, Skate Park, cafes, recreational spaces, Youth worker support, and strong community connections. Students participate in programs dedicated to enhancing practical and personal skills, at a pace that encourages school attendance, engagement and confidence.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We are now interested in appointing **1 permanent, full-time Teacher **to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team at the **Clem Jones Senior Campus located in Kingston.**
The ideal applicant will be looking for a challenge, have a passion for working with young people, a strong interest in the development of the holistic person, a personal interest in health and fitness, spirituality, personal well-being and values and ongoing professional development.
- You will have experience and/or interest in working within a trauma informed framework
- Dedicated to providing students with a real opportunity and commitment to continuous improvement is celebrated each and every day

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Hold a relevant Bachelor degree, current Queensland Teacher Registration, First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications;
- Be able to demonstrate practical experience teaching and supporting young people and the development of positive student relationships;
- Work successfully in a small team and within the schools' philosophy & ethos to establish productive partnerships and achieve educational outcomes.
